Kymberly
I have fourteen (14) years of experience in the Early Education and Care industry and I am qualified as a Diploma in Early Education and Care. I am studying her Bachelor of Early Education and Care and hope to complete this in 2025.
I began my journey in Early Education and Care because I was passionate about contributing to the creation of a safe and supportive environment for children. As I continue in this field I recognise the importance of my role not only in the child’s journey but also in supporting families, particularly within our rural community. My studies have deepened my understanding of how crucial these early years are for a child’s growth and well-being, and this knowledge motivates me to stay in the industry and find opportunities to support and inspire fellow educators.
As an early childhood educator, I am a strong advocate for play-based learning and its importance for children's development. Drawing from my own experiences as a child and now as a mother, I seize the opportunity within the small moments as valuable opportunities to build relationships and support children’s curiosity. My studies in early education and care laid the foundation for my knowledge, and my journey as a mother has strengthened my commitment to planning flexible, inclusive experiences that cater to each child’s unique needs and interests, ensuring every child has the space to engage in their own way.
